Similar to Solid Apollo’s Waterproof Color Changing RGB + Warm White Quadchip 5050 72W LED Strip and Waterproof Color Changing RGB + White Quadchip 5050 72W LED Strip. The Waterproof 5050 Quadchip RGBW Strip is now available in Daylight White.
If you are wondering what Quadchip means, it means, in each LED it contains 4 smaller chips (Red, Green, Blue + Daylight White) hence the word “Quad”. Now when combined, it is capable of producing over 16 million shades of bright, vivid, and brilliant colors. Because it’s a 5050 and it’s a bit larger than the 3528 LED, it is able to fit 4 chips. This powerful RGBW LED Strip provides the best brightness, color uniformity and reliability with 75% output at 50,000 hours.
The Waterproof RGBW LED Strip is designed for applications in areas where precipitation can occur. Thanks to its IP67 waterproof housing, it provides protection from dust, moisture and UV. The Daylight White has a color temperature of 4000K and emits light similar to the color of actual sunlight. It has a total lumens of 1623 RGB and 2033 Daylight White (99 RGB and 124 Daylight White lumens per foot). Due to its 82+ Color Rendering Index (CRI) it will not alter or distort the colors around it. It is perfect for areas where mixes of light and dark colors are present, and spaces where non-white colors such as blues, greens and reds are.
The spool is 16.4 ft. long with a total of 300 LEDs at 18 LEDs per foot. It is operating at 24VDC at 4.4W per foot.
